ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Oil Museum tells visitors about the history of the Achinsk oil refinery, the only oil refinery in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
At the exposition, visitors will learn where the oil came from, and what it was formed from millions of years ago; they can look through a microscope at the microorganism from which it was formed and even “touch” it with a glove. The exhibit called “Made from Oil” shows how various petroleum products are used for the production of household goods, and with the help of a barcode scanner you can learn more about the technology of their production.
