ABOUT THE PROJECT
The museum’s exposition invites visitors to get acquainted with the history of the discovery and use of precious metals, the technology of their extraction and processing, as well as their significance for the development of science, technology, and civilization in general. At the exhibition, you can lift a mock-up of a gold bar to feel its weight and understand how true the cinematic clichés about chasing bank robbers carrying dozens of bars are. You can also find out what your price would be if you were made of precious metal, touch a real meteorite or take a picture in a foundryman’s outfit.
